The President of the Republic of Albania, H. E. Mr. Bajram Begaj visits Finiq
The President of the Republic of Albania, H. E. Mr. Bajram Begaj visited Finiq today, where he met with representatives of the local government, as well as with prominent intellectuals of the Greek minority.
President Begaj visited the Archeological Park of Finiq, accompanied by the Prefect of the Vlora District, Mr. Flamur Mamaj, Mayor of Finiq, Mr. Kristo Kiço, district Members of Parliament, Ms. Anila Denaj and Mr. Niko Kuri.
“Finiq has great potential, especially for tourism, which can promote the development of the area. The nature, history and culture of Finiq need to be taken in consideration and used for sustainable development opportunities of the entire area”, President Begaj noted.
During his stay in Finiq, President Begaj and the Mayor held a courtesy meeting with local intellectuals.
