Hemion Braho obtains a Law Degree by the Faculty of Law at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Italy in 2009. At the same Institution, he concluded his Ph.D in History and Theory of European Law in 2013 and worked as an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Law of the “Tor Vergata” University in Rome. Hemion Braho has a long experience in the university teaching level. In September 2013, he started working as a full time Law Lecturer at the European University of Tirana and he had been Head of the Law Department in 2016-2018. In 2016, he obtained the academic title, Associate Professor by the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana.
From September 2018 to August 2022, he joined the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Albania, as Senior Policy Advisor on Rule of Law having mostly an advising role on Rule of Law issues, as well as project managing and report drafting. During that period, he covered with his expertise the ongoing Justice Reform in Albania, Anticorruption, Organized Crime, as well as several topics on Media Freedom and Human Rights.
He has participated in various training courses in the field of Human Rights, Connections between State and Religion, Bioethics, Theory of Law, Civil Law, organized in numerous scientific institutes as Urbaniana University (Vatican City), “Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei” (Rome), “Senato della Repubblica” (Rome), European Center for Studies and Research in Ethics (CEERE), Strasbourg (France), the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Hague (Netherlands) etc.
