The President of the Republic of Albania, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj meets with His Beatitude Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania
On Christmas Day, the President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj met today with His Beatitude Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana and all Albania.
President Begaj expressed his best wishes to all Orthodox believers on this important day: “This day brings us back to each other and to the desire to be united, in the common wish to nurture peace, cooperation, and solidarity, to take care of each other with good will and love. This celebration reminds us that simplicity and humility are human values and precious virtues, serving peace and harmony in the family and community and promoting prosperity among all people. Love for one another must prevail, because it makes the world a better place for everyone,” stated the President.
President Begaj availed of the opportunity to congratulate His Beatitude Anastasios, who a month ago celebrated his 30th anniversary as Archbishop of Tirana, Durrës and all Albania.
