President Begaj Welcomes a Delegation from the Molise Region and the Arbëreshë Community of Montecilfone in Italy
Today, President of the Republic of Albania, His Excellency Mr. Bajram Begaj, received a delegation from the Molise region and the Arbëreshë community of Montecilfone in Italy, which included top authorities and notable figures advocating for the protection of Arbëreshë linguistic minorities.
The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between Albania and Italy through increased exchanges in mutually interesting fields.
President Begaj valued the partnership between the two countries based on their longstanding historical, cultural, and economic relations and expressed Albania’s readiness to deepen this cooperation.
He also appreciated the crucial role of the Arbëreshë and Albanian communities in Italy, as well as Italian citizens and entrepreneurs in Albania, in enhancing the relationships between the two nations and opening up new prospects.
