President Begaj with Retired Teachers from Across Albania: A celebration full of emotion!
On Teacher’s Day, the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, welcomed retired teachers, who have made extraordinary contributions to Albanian education, to the Presidential Institution.
President Begaj expressed appreciation and thanks on behalf of the Albanian society for the role they have played in educating generations with love for the language, education, and homeland.

Dear teachers,
Ladies and gentlemen,
Today, as we stand together, I want to start with a simple word, yet filled with emotion: Thank you!
Thank you for being and continuing to be the pillars upon which our educational system was built and is growing. You, with your dedication, passion, and love for teaching, have ignited the sparks of curiosity and knowledge in the hearts of many generations. Your stories, experiences, and lessons shared are a valuable heritage that continues to inspire generations.
In this long and complex journey called education and learning, you have been not just teachers but also educators and mentors for many students who still remember you with gratitude and love. Your role in shaping characters and building an educated and responsible society cannot and should not be underestimated.
Through your dedication, you have shown that education is not just the transmission of knowledge but a sacred mission to convey the best knowledge and values of our people, the Albanian identity.
Today, more than ever, your wisdom, experience, and love for teaching are needed. As we build an educational future that strives to be inclusive, fair, and innovative, we must find inspiration in you, in the example you set every day in fulfilling your mission with sacrifices but also love for the future seeds. You are the proof that teachers are indeed the builders of tomorrow.
Let us continue to build on the foundations you have laid, maintaining the traditional values that have guided us here, while also embracing new methods and technologies that propel us forward.
At the end of the day, what unites us all is the love for our country and belief in the power of education and the transmission of knowledge from generation to generation to change lives.
You have given your lives a high purpose, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of those you have taught. For this, you will always be remembered as the pride and heroes of our society!
