President Begaj received the Credential Letters of the new Greek Ambassador to Albania, H.E. Ms. Konstatina Kamitsi

The President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj received today the Credential Letters from the new Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Albania, H. E. Ms. Konstatina Kamitsi.

President Begaj expressed his appreciation of the relations between the two countries and confirmed Albania’s interest and good will to further strengthen the good neighborly relations.

President Begaj expressed his thankfulness for the support, Greece has given to Albania in the EU integration process, especially during the Greek Presidency in 2003 and 2014, being vocal about the enlargement process and Western Balkans integration.

President Begaj noted that the Greek minority in Albania and the Albanian community in Greece remain strong bridges for the future of the friendship and cooperation between our countries and nations.

With reference to unsettled matters between our two countries, President Begaj commended the good will and serious commitment of both parts to address such matters in the spirit of partnership, trust and mutual respect.
