President Begaj Meets with the Chairman of the Albanian National Council of the Presheva Valley, Mr. Nevzad Lutfiu
President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, today hosted a meeting with Mr. Nevzad Lutfiu, the Chairman of the Albanian National Council of the Presheva Valley. The discussion focused on the situation of the Albanian minority in the Presheva Valley, which President Begaj closely monitors, particularly concerning their full enjoyment of rights through political participation and socio-economic integration according to European standards.
The Head of State encouraged the Albanian National Council, which represents Albanians from the Presheva Valley, to implement joint initiatives with Albania in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, and to expand cooperation projects at the local level.
President Begaj reaffirmed his support for the Albanians living in Serbia, expressing Albania’s commitment to expedite the opening of the General Consulate in the Presheva Valley.
