Chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration Party, Mr. Ali Ahmeti and First Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Mr. Artan Grubi received by President Begaj

The President of the Republic, H. E. Mr. Bajram Begaj received today the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Political System and Intercommunal Relations of North Macedonia, Mr. Artan Grubi, as well as the Chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration Party, Mr. Ali Ahmeti. President Begaj appreciated the important role of the Albanians and Albanian political parties in ensuring stability in North Macedonia and the entire region, as well as the positive developments in the inter-ethnic relations between Albanians and Macedonians. Referring to the common Euro-Atlantic and European agenda of the two countries, the Head of State underlined the importance of the continued contribution of the Albanian factor in advancing the integration agenda of the neighboring country. “The European future of both countries is of primary geopolitical importance. Everyone’s contribution in that direction will, also, help better address all other concerns faced by the Albanians in North Macedonia”, - said President Begaj. On their part, Deputy Prime Minister Grubi and DUI Chairman Ahmeti informed the President on the overall political situation in North Macedonia and the challenges the neighboring country is facing in implementing the necessary constitutional and EU agenda reforms.
