Archbishop Monsignor Arjan Dodaj meets with the President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj
‘We feel proud , that one of the largest Catholic Archdioceses of the country is led by a high prelate of Albanian origin’, underlined the President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj, in the meeting with Monsignor Arjan Dodaj, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Tirana-Durrës, of the Catholic Church of Albania.
Referring to the return of values in the last three decades of senior leaders of Albanian origin of the Catholic Church, but also of institutions of other official religious faiths, President Begaj particularly appreciated the role and personal activity of Monsignor Dodaj, in one of the most important dioceses for the great Albanian Catholic community.
President Begaj appreciated the role and contribution of the Albanian Catholic Church for the moral and spiritual recovery of the Albanian Catholic community, but also for the help given to families and individuals in need and marginalized, without differences and in full respect of the tradition of interreligious harmony and coexistence in Albania.
Monsignor Dodaj introduced the Head of State also to the religious and social activity of the Archdiocese of Tirana-Durrës, as well as the concrete help that this diocese provides to communities and individuals in need.
