The President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, writes his condolence message on the Book of Condolences, at the Holy See Embassy in Tirana, on the passing away of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI
Today, the President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj expressed his condolences to the representatives of the Holy See Embassy in Tirana, on the passing away of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. President Begaj, in the presence of the Holy See Ambassador to Albania, the Apostolic Nuncio, wrote his condolence message in the Condolences Book at the Holy See Embassy.
“My condolences to the Holy See and the entire Catholic Community, all over the world, on the passing away of Pope Emeritus. During his Papacy, he led the Holy See and Catholics all over the world with wisdom. Pope Benedict XVI continuously applauded Albania’s religious harmony. He will be remembered for his clerical leadership and his precious work as a philosopher and doctrinarian theologian to the benefit of all humankind.
May He rest in eternal peace”, wrote President Begaj in his message.
