President Begaj visits the home of academician Rexhep Qosja
During his stay in Prishtina, the President of the Republic, H.E. Bajram Begaj, made a visit to the home of academician Rexhep Qosja.
President Begaj appreciated his scientific and literary creations, his valuable critical articles, and his intellectual activity.
Mr. Qosja expressed to President Begaj support for their joint efforts to preserve national identity through the respect for the standard of the Albanian literary language in Albania and Kosova.
While recalling figures of the National Renaissance, particularly the patriotic, political, and literary activities of Sami, Abdyl, and Naim Frashëri, and Naum Veqilharxhi, academician Qosja emphasized the need for concrete works that highlight the values of the Renaissance leaders and distinguished Albanian personalities, aiming to raise awareness among the younger generations.
During the conversation, they also respectfully remembered the sacrifices during the Kosova War and the heroism of the Jashari family, whose members, men, women, and children, gave their lives for their land, becoming a unique example worldwide.
