President Begaj meets with the Special Envoy of the British Government for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach
In the inauguration ceremonies of the newly elected President of Montenegro, the President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj, also met with the Special Envoy of the British Government for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach.
The focus of the meeting were the latest developments in the Western Balkans region and the need to create a new spirit of cooperation, with the aim of minimizing the propaganda and influence of malicious third actors towards the Euro-Atlantic developments of the countries of the region.
President Begaj appreciated the active role of the British Government in the Western Balkans region, as well as Lord Peach’s personal commitment in this regard, alongside the contribution of the U.S. and EU special envoys.
The two interlocutors also focused on the negative effects that the war in Ukraine has brought for the countries of the Western Balkan region.
