First Lady Armanda Begaj Joins the Joy of the Abetare Celebration for Children in the Villages of Kashar and Ndroq, Tirana
First Lady Armanda Begaj participated in the traditional Abetare (Alphabet Book) celebration at “Qemal Cena” school in Kashar and “Bashkim Berisha” school in Ndroq.
She congratulated the first-grade students on completing a significant milestone in learning to read and write in Albanian.
Along with congratulating them for finishing their first school book and receiving their Abetare certificates, Mrs. Begaj gifted the children educational and entertaining books as part of an initiative to promote reading in Albanian.
She expressed special thanks to the teachers for their dedication to the young students, especially in developing their native language skills.
Mrs. Begaj also met with the parents and grandparents who participated in this first academic “graduation” of the young students.
The visit to “Bashkim Berisha” school in Ndroq was a promise kept by Mrs. Begaj.
She first met these children at the start of the school year and, as she had promised on September 11, 2023, returned today to share in the joy of the Abetare celebration with them.
