The President Of The Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj Receives The President Of Estonia, H.E.Mr. Alar Karis

The President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj, received today in a state visit the President of Estonia, H.E.Mr. Alar Karis. This visit is considered historic in the relations between the two countries, as it marks the first visit of an Estonian president to Albania. After the official ceremony in honor of the arrival of President Karis, the two presidents held a tête-à-tête meeting, to then preside over the extended meeting between the two official delegations. At the end of the meeting, the two presidents held a joint press conference. During his statement on this occasion, President Begaj emphasized Estonia's contribution to Albania's European journey, cooperation in the framework of security as a NATO ally, as well as various projects, especially those related to economy, where the two countries can cooperate in the future.
