The President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj, received today the Member of the European Parliament, Andrey Kovatchev. Special attention was paid to Albania’s integration process and its European perspective. The President of the Republic also expressed his thanks for the approval of a balanced, fair, and encouraging report for Albania, a decision-making in the context of the various complex political interests negotiated within the European Parliament. President Begaj emphasized Albania's determination towards integration processes, as well as for the intensification of efforts to advance the undertaken reforms. In this context, he underlined the importance of the support of the European Parliament in achieving the objectives of the negotiations and for the development of the Second EU-Albania Intergovernmental Conference.v
