‘The voice of the Albanian citizens must be heard wherever they are, even in the most remote areas. No one should feel forgotten, nor left aside by the state institutions. The local government should also do everything to come to the aid of every individual, family or business facing economic difficulties’.
This was the message of the President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj during his visit to Tropoja, where he held meetings with representatives of the local government and community.
During the meeting with the Mayor of Tropoja, Rexhë Byberi, President Begaj discussed the challenges and difficulties faced by the community, as well as the municipality.
‘Guaranteeing the right to property, as well as updating the property map is a prerequisite for the further development of tourism, as well as encouraging entrepreneurship in this area. We must create opportunities to support young people in order to design their future here’, stated President Begaj.
‘Challenges can only be solved through inter-institutional cooperation. It is important to provide school infrastructure, to provide health services even in remote areas, to continue to invest in tourism, care should always be taken, so that the identity of the area is not lost’, underlined the Head of State.
President Begaj, accompanied by the First Lady, Armanda Begaj, also visited the ‘Asim Vokshi’ high school. ‘Meeting with young people, especially under school terms, when you see them full of desire for knowledge and to create a dignified future, gives us endless energy and fills us with hope for tomorrow’s Albania’, emphasized President Begaj.
At the end of his visit to Tropoja, President Begaj visited the Valbona National Park and met with business representatives.
