The First Lady visits “Ali Demi” Women’s Prison in Tirana
The First Lady, Armanda Begaj visited the “Ali Demi” Women’s Prison in Tirana, where 27 girls and women are serving their sentence. During her visit, the First Lady chose to plant some flowers along with the convicted girls and women.
“Plant together some plants that are unblossomed today, but with the arrival of spring they will blossom, giving you hope for life, for its continuation,” the First Lady said, while meeting with the women.
At the end of the meeting, the First Lady donated some books that went to the “Ali Demi” prison library fund.
