Creating a warm and festive atmosphere was the purpose of the First Lady Armanda Begaj’s visit to the Infant House ‘Hannah and Rozafa’ in Tirana, which provides care for children from 0-6 years old.
On the eve of the start of the festive season, accompanied by her son Dorian, by the Director of the State Social Service, Mrs. Reme Lala, as well as the Head of this center, Mrs. Orjeta Metaj, Mrs. Begaj stayed for several hours in the company of the 31 children of this institution and the staff, the ‘mothers’ of this house. The First Lady and Dorian provided some symbolic gifts and together with the children decorated the Christmas tree.
The First Lady thanked the staff of the Infant House ‘Hannah and Rozafa’ for their dedication in creating a very warm family environment for the young children, so they don’t lack care and love while growing up.
‘On these holidays and whenever, let’s pay attention and give as much love as possible to babies or children in need, who more than anyone need all-round support. It is up to all of us to build a society, where these children can have the same opportunities to grow up and be educated decently for their future and that of the country’, said Mrs. Begaj during her visit.
