During his stay in Prishtina for the international forum on “Women, Peace, and Security,” the President of the Republic, H.E. Bajram Begaj, met today with the President of Slovenia, Natasha Pirc Musar.
The presidents of both states reaffirmed the need for deeper cooperation, based on mutual interests, partnership in NATO, and a shared European perspective.
President Begaj appreciated Slovenia’s role in Albania’s European Union accession process. Additionally, President Begaj commended his counterpart for Slovenia’s engagement in the region with initiatives that have yielded concrete progress, stability, and sustainable development, such as the “Brdo-Brijuni Process,” the “Bled Strategic Forum,” and the Berlin Process.
Economic cooperation development was another topic discussed by the two presidents, emphasizing that both countries have opportunities that can and should be exploited.
