President of the Republic H. E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, with British lawmakers from the House of Lords and the Commons
Today, the President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, met with a group of lawmakers from both the House of Lords and the House of Commons of the British Parliament, representing various political parties.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations, increasing economic cooperation, and the situation in the region.
President Begaj commended the excellent relations between the two countries and described the United Kingdom as “an advocate for Albania’s integration processes.
He thanked the British government for its support provided to several cities in Northern Albania through the “New Perspectives” project aimed at youth and businesses and shared his vision for the sustainable development of these areas.
President Begaj also appreciated the partnership between the two countries in combating organized crime.
