President Begaj’s Message on the 2 Year Mark of the Start of the Russian Aggression in Ukraine
The President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, today conveyed a message on the second anniversary of the start of the Russian aggression in Ukraine, a war that continues to bring casualties and destruction along with the risk of conflict spreading
“Today, we are witnesses to the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people for freedom, dignity, and the defense of their country,” expressed President Begaj, highlighting the consequences of this war. The head of state reaffirms Albania’s position alongside Ukraine and in defense of universal values.

“Two years since the unprovoked and unjustified military aggression of Russia against Ukraine.
Today, we are witnesses to the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people for freedom, dignity, and the defense of their country.
Ukraine today is our conscience.
Our common values and our freedom are at risk.
We will always stand with Ukraine and its people, as well as in defense of universal values.”
