The President of the Republic hosts the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Iliana Iotova
Today, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bajram Begaj, received the Deputy President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Iliana Iotova.
During the meeting, President Begaj acknowledged the strong cooperation between the two countries in a year that marks the 110th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Albania and Bulgaria.
The high-level visits the two countries have exchanged in recent years should continue further to deepen collaboration in all areas of mutual interest.
President Begaj praised Bulgaria’s support for Albania’s European integration and regarded Bulgaria as a significant economic partner. According to the Head of State, both countries should harness the ample opportunities to strengthen this partnership further.
Furthermore, President Begaj valued Bulgaria’s ongoing support towards the Republic of Kosovo as a further guarantee for the stability and progress of the Western Balkans.
