President of the Republic meets candidate for Member of the European Parliament, Muharrem Salihu
President Bajram Begaj of the Republic of Albania met with activist and entrepreneur Muharrem Salihu from the Presheva Valley, who is a candidate for the European Parliament under the “United States of Europe” coalition.
President Begaj wished Mr. Salihu success in the election and commended him for his efforts in supporting minorities, particularly for the assistance provided to Albanians living in Serbia.
During the conversation, the President emphasized the importance of cooperation among Albanian compatriots abroad.
Recognizing the successful models of Albanians around the world, President Begaj expressed his conviction that they will always contribute positively to the nation, beyond the good reputation they establish in the countries where they live and work.
