President Begaj Extends Christmas Greetings to Albanian Orthodox Believers from the Berat Metropolis
President Bajram Begaj chose to extend his Christmas greetings to the Albanian Orthodox believers from the Berat Metropolis, where he was welcomed by His Grace, Asti, and the Orthodox citizens of Berat, who greeted him with the traditional “Kolendra singing” or as it is known in Berat, “The Star’s Procession.”
“We are grateful for the respect and love you have shown every day as President to the Albanian Orthodox.
For me, as the new Metropolitan of Berat, it is a great pleasure to have you here,” were the words of the Metropolitan of Berat, His Grace Asti, addressed to the Head of State.
President Begaj expressed: “Let this day be a moment to thank God for the blessings we have and to help those who are in greater need. United, anchored in our ancient values and the indomitable spirit of our people, we can build a brighter future for Albania.
I hope this Christmas brings joy and harmony to every Albanian family, at home and abroad. Let us be inspired to face tomorrow with courage, love, and full faith in our potential.
