During his stay in New York for the General Debate Week of the 78th United Nations General Assembly session, President Begaj also met the EU’s Special Envoy for the Pristina-Belgrade Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák.

President Begaj assured the EU’s Special Envoy for the Pristina-Belgrade Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák, that Albania remains committed to continuing its role in de-escalating the tense situation between the two countries and returning to the dialogue table. The EU’s role in this process and all significant developments in our region is particularly important.
