President Begaj Holds One-on-One Meeting with President Aliyev
President Bajram Begaj of Albania today held a one-on-one meeting with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan. The meeting focused on strengthening the intensive bilateral relations following previous official visits exchanged between the two countries.
The Head of State praised the excellent political cooperation and the strengthening of economic relations between the two nations.
Energy and tourism remain top priorities in this collaboration, for which President Begaj expressed Albania’s interest in advancing initiatives that bring tangible benefits to the economies of both countries. Additionally, it was emphasized that the opening of respective embassies in Tirana and Baku serves this purpose.
President Begaj highlighted Albania’s appreciation for Azerbaijan’s ongoing support for local projects directly connected to the TAP gas pipeline.
