President Begaj Meets with the Vice-President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Nikollë Camaj
President Bajram Begaj hosted a meeting today with the Vice-President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Nikollë Camaj, discussing developments in the neighboring state with a focus on the role of the Albanian political factor and their situation.
President Begaj appreciated the efforts undertaken by Albanian leaders in Montenegro for the benefit of the indigenous Albanians there.
During the conversation, ideas were exchanged on increasing economic cooperation between the two countries to benefit citizens, with a particular emphasis on projects linking Albanians on both sides of the border and strengthening the political and economic status of Albanians living in Montenegro.
President Begaj praised the excellent relations between the two countries, evidenced by his official visit last month to Montenegro, invited by his counterpart, Mr. Jakov Milatović.
The State Head also discussed with Mr. Camaj the further intensification of relations between the two states, as well as strengthening inter-regional and Euro-Atlantic ties that bring sustainable development and improve the lives of citizens.
