President Begaj Welcomes Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia, Her Excellency Ms. Patricia Chisanga Kondolo, to Albania
Today, the President of the Republic of Albania, His Excellency Mr. Bajram Begaj, hosted a meeting with the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zambia, Her Excellency Ms. Patricia Chisanga Kondolo.
The President congratulated Ms. Kondolo on her new appointment and wished her success during her tenure.
The conversation covered issues of bilateral cooperation and the importance of working together within international organizations. President Begaj emphasized the need to bring the two countries closer in mutually interesting fields and to establish a foundation for economic and cultural cooperation.
The importance of exchanging visits at various levels, fostering political and diplomatic dialogue, and tapping into the potential for activities in international forums were recognized as crucial.
President Begaj encouraged the recognition of Kosova by Zambia as a contribution to strengthening peace and stability in the Western Balkans region.
In the absence of official recognition, President Begaj suggested exploring ways to cooperate, such as recognizing travel documents, facilitating visits, and promoting business contacts between the two countries.
