President Begaj Meets with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kosova, Mrs. Albulena Haxhiu
The President of the Republic, Mr. Bajram Begaj, today held a meeting with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kosova, Mrs. Albulena Haxhiu.
President Begaj welcomed the new initiatives and reforms undertaken by the government of Kosova, particularly in the field of justice and their commitment to compliance with Euro-Atlantic policies.
“It is a long and challenging process,” said the President of the Republic, emphasizing that carrying out reforms in the interest of the citizens fulfills our national dream of integration into the European Union
The meeting highlighted the excellent cooperation between the institutions of Albania and Kosova.
President Begaj expressed the importance of advancing this cooperation in strategic projects such as the Port of Durrës, the Dry Port of Prishtina, and their connection with the Durrës-Prishtina railway, which will bring our countries closer.
The Head of State underlined that cooperation among Albanians plays a unique role in the stability, security, sustainable development, and Euro-Atlantic perspective of both countries and the entire region as a strategic goal.
The President of Albania reaffirmed his commitment to increasing the number of new recognitions and to Kosova’s membership in international organizations, adding that it is important to develop joint strategies to present the undertaken reforms and aimed progress.
“Albania has been and will always be there for Kosova,” stated President Begaj, who emphasized that the Republic of Kosova is an irreversible reality, despite any malevolent attempts that are destined to fail.
