President Begaj Receives the Credentials of the New Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt
President Bajram Begaj of Albania accepted the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Hassan Shawkay, in Albania.
During the meeting, President Begaj assured Ambassador Shawkay of his support and wished him success in his duties.
The political relations between the two countries were considered very good, but it was emphasized that there is a need to increase high-level contacts and visits, which are crucial for giving a new impetus and dynamic to the bilateral ties and cooperation in other areas, focusing on the economy and investments.
President Begaj expressed that there are untapped opportunities to enhance cooperation in the fields of energy, maritime and air transport, agriculture, and tourism.
