President Begaj accepts the Credentials of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Andreas Gaarder
The President of the Republic, Mr. Bajram Begaj, today welcomed the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Albania, resident in Ankara, Mr. Andreas Gaarder, on the occasion of presenting the Credential Letters.
The Head of State congratulated Ambassador Gaarder on his new role, expressing Albania’s commitment to deepening relations with Norway in mutually interesting fields.
President Begaj appreciated the strong partnership within NATO, as well as in maritime and energy production sectors.
The President recognized the presence of Norwegian investors in several projects in Albania and noted that the initiation of negotiations with the EU could further encourage business actors to view Albania as an attractive opportunity.
