President Begaj Accepts Credential Letters from the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia, Her Excellency Ms. Ligia Margarita Quessep Bitar
Today, the President of the Republic of Albania, His Excellency Mr. Bajram Begaj, accepted the Credential Letters from the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Colombia, Her Excellency Ms. Ligia Margarita Quessep Bitar.
The meeting highlighted the need to advance the relations between the two countries through strengthening political dialogue, economic cooperation, and collaboration in all areas of mutual interest.
Regarding the cooperation between the two countries within international organizations, the President of the Republic emphasized that Albania would continue to support Colombia following the successful outcomes in bilateral relations through reciprocal support.
President Begaj assured continued collaboration with Colombia on joint regional declarations within the Human Rights Council and other international organizations, particularly in promoting and protecting the rights of women and children.
Concerning Kosova, the President of the Republic expressed his conviction that Colombia would maintain its supportive stance on Kosova’s applications for membership in international organizations.
President Bajram Begaj wished Ambassador Ligia Margarita Quessep Bitar success in her new duties, ensuring support throughout her tenure.
