Today, President His Excellency Bajram Begaj of Albania accepted the Credentials from the Non-Resident Ambassador of Finland to Albania, Her Excellency Leena Pylvänäinen.
During the meeting, the President valued the excellent bilateral relations and Finland’s support for the EU’s enlargement policy, especially towards Albania, noting that Albania was among the first countries to ratify the NATO Membership Protocols for Finland and Sweden.
The discussion concluded with an acknowledgment of the growth and improvement of bilateral political cooperation due to mutual visits over this year. President Begaj expressed support for any bilateral initiatives that enhance these relations, including the exchange of high-level state visits.
In terms of cooperation in international organizations, the President stated that Albania looks forward to collaborating with Finland during its OSCE Chairmanship in 2025.
