President Begaj Receives Credential Letter from Cuba’s New Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to Albania, H.E. Mr. Bernardo Luís de Carvalho Futscher Pereira.
The President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, met today with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to Tirana, H.E. Mr. Bernardo Luís de Carvalho Futscher Pereira. The President accepted his Letter of Credence and expressed his conviction that Albania will continue to receive the same support from Portugal in the EU membership negotiation process, even after the reconfiguration of the Union’s institutions in the 2024 European elections.
The conversation also included strengthening bilateral relations through Portuguese entrepreneurial investments in Albania and cooperation in the field of tourism.
