President Begaj Extends His Warmest Christmas Greetings at Saint Paul’s Catholic Cathedral and the Headquarters of the Evangelical Church of Tirana
This morning, President Bajram Begaj visited Saint Paul’s Catholic Cathedral in Tirana to extend his warmest Christmas greetings to Archbishop Arjan Doda and all Catholic believers.
During his visit, the President met a group of American citizens working in our country, the Chargé d’Affaires in Albania, and staff from the American Embassy, to whom he expressed gratitude for their efforts and wished a joyous Christmas.
Archbishop Arjan Doda thanked the President for his unifying role, his balanced and peaceful stance, emphasizing that our society needs messages of hope, peace, and reconciliation.
“In a world full of challenges, Christmas calls us to rebuild bridges of understanding and to strengthen the spirit of unity among us. Christmas reminds us that no hardship can extinguish the light that ignites within us when we act with love and faith,” stated the President.
President Begaj also conveyed his Christmas greetings at the headquarters of the Evangelical Church of Tirana to the evangelical believers. He was received by Pastor Ergest Bitri, Chairman of the Evangelical Brotherhood of Albania.
The President emphasized that on this holy day, everyone should be grateful to God for the blessings received and pass these blessings on through acts of charity and support for the poor, the weak, and the needy.
