President Begaj Addresses Women and Girls on the Importance of Regular Screenings to Prevent Breast Cancer
President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, began today with a message directed at women and girls about the importance of regular screenings to prevent breast cancer.
In line with Pink October, the breast cancer awareness month, the President urged everyone to be vigilant and not overlook this challenging disease, emphasizing support and aid for those affected.
Pink October serves as a time to remember those who have lost their lives to this illness and a period for reflection. In his appeal, the President highlighted the importance of timely examinations because prevention saves lives.
“As a doctor, a spouse, and a parent, I urge you to get screened because prevention is easier than treatment. Timely screenings save lives! Make regular check-ups a part of your life! ‘Pink October’ should be every day of the year!”
