Where better than among us, and here in our region, is this message of solidarity and cooperation valuable, both human and institutional” – President Begaj stated in his remarks.
President Begaj stated that Mother Teresa’s commitment to helping those in need, her compassion, and her efforts to provide hope to those in misery inspire us each day in our lives and at work to be close to people and to live with their concerns.
The Head of State also emphasized: “We are proud to be part of her ethnic and cultural heritage, but this is not enough! We must humbly and gratefully preserve the heritage of solid ethical values that she left us with, and we must always be close to people, especially those who are most in need.”
