President Begaj and Minister Dukaj Discuss Proper Representation of Montenegrin Albanians in Politics and Decision-Making Institutions
Today, the President of the Republic, Mr. Bajram Begaj, met with the Minister of Public Administration of Montenegro, Mr. Marash Dukaj.
The discussion focused on the situation of Albanians in Montenegro and the constructive role of the Albanian factor in the region in Euro-Atlantic processes.
Representation in politics, in the decision-making institutions of central and local government, and the protection of minority rights are the main challenges for Albanians in Montenegro.
President Begaj reaffirmed his stance and commitment to support them in ensuring and respecting their legitimate rights, just as for any minority in Albania.
The President of the Republic emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between the countries of the region, noting the particular significance of the Albanian factor in this respect.
