President Begaj celebrates Europe Day with the students of “Emin Duraku” School in Tirana
President Bajram Begaj of the Republic of Albania celebrated Europe Day today with students at the “Emin Duraku” School in Tirana.
During the event organized at the school, the President delivered a special message about the significance of May 9th.
“Europe is a dream and inspiration for every Albanian. The project of a United Europe is the best scenario for Europe and especially for Albania. Our journey towards the European Union is challenging, and we still have much to accomplish”, President Begaj stated.
Addressing the children, he highlighted the importance of Albania’s membership in the EU as fulfilling a long-held dream of the Albanians, a dream that the younger generations will enjoy.
“I believe this dream will become a reality for you, children. You need to study hard to realize your dreams of making a mark in life, but you must also enjoy the benefits of being part of the European Union”, said President Begaj at the meeting.
At the concert organized for the occasion, sixth-grade students from “Emin Duraku” School showcased their artistic creations in poetry and prose.
They also performed dances, songs, and instrumental pieces using traditional instruments like the çifteli and guitar, displaying their talents as well as their interest in tradition through folk and patriotic works.
