President of the Republic of Albania, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj receives the President of Poland, H.E.Mr. Andrzej Duda
The President of the Republic of Albania, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj received today in a state visit the President of the Republic of Poland, H.E.Mr. Andrzej Duda, who was accompanied by the First Lady, Agata Kornhauser-Duda.
After the official welcoming ceremony at the Institution of the President of the Republic, the two Presidents held a tête-à-tête meeting, as well as were part of the talks with the delegations representing Albania and Poland.
At the end of the meeting, the two Presidents held a press conference, where they discussed with journalists from Poland and Albania the developments that focused on the relations between the two countries, the Western Balkans region, as well as the developments focused on peace in the region and in world.
They also discussed on finding areas to expand economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as intensifying cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries as a contribution to peace and security in the Euro-Atlantic areas.
President Begaj appreciated Poland’s determined position in supporting and maintaining stability in Kosovo, as well as advocating for Kosovo’s rightful place in the European Union.
In his remarks, President Begaj appreciated the very good and traditionally friendly political relations, reconfirmed through the visit of friend Duda to Tirana.
