President Begaj’s message after the closing of the voting process for the local elections 2023
I thank all Albanians who voted today with responsibility and dignity, fulfilling their constitutional right, but also a moral and civic obligation to the country.
At this time, when the vote counting process began, as well as regarding the publication of the results, I call on all those involved in this process to perform their duties with responsibility, honesty and professionalism, ensuring and guaranteeing the will expressed by the vote of Albanian citizens.
Albanian voters have spoken!
It is time for their vote to be counted fairly and without delay.
