President Begaj visits the Cathedral of Rrëshen on Catholic Easter Day
The President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj visited today the Cathedral of Rrëshen, on the occasion of Catholic Easter. During his visit, President Begaj was received by the Bishop of the Diocese of Rrëshen, Dom Gjergj Meta.
In a press statement, the President expressed that it was a special pleasure to be in the Cathedral of Rëshen and seized the opportunity to wish to all believers of Catholic faith “Happy Easter”.
“May this day be a time of hope for revival, peace and harmony in all your families, in our society and in the troubled world we live in. Today is the day, that we need to bring to our attention that good can triumph over evil, hope over pessimism. Let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. It is a pleasure to be here today”, the President said in his statement.
Accompanied by Dom Gjergj Meta, President Begaj also visited the home of the Vincentian sisters.
