President Begaj receives the Ambassador of the European Union, Mrs. Hohmann
The President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj, received today in a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the European Union to Albania, Mrs. Christiane Hohmann.
During the meeting, President Begaj appreciated the role of Ambassador Hohmann in the important task of representing the EU delegation in Tirana.
The Head of State highlighted that Mrs. Hohmann became the head of the delegation just a few days after Albania opened membership talks with the European Union, a year ago.
The Head of State considers EU membership the biggest strategic objective of Albania and Albanians.
At the end of the meeting, President Begaj wished success to Mrs. Hohmann in her future endeavors.
