President Begaj meets with the World Grandfather of the Bektashi, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj

On the occasion of the day of Sultan Novruz, the President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj, visited today the Holy See of the Bektashi World Headquarters, where he met with the World Grandfather of the Bektashi, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj. At the end of his visit, President Begaj seized the opportunity to greet all the Bektashi believers. “I came today to congratulate the Bektashi believers on the Feast of Sultan Novruz, the birthday of Imam Ali, the day of Bektashi nobility! It was a pleasure to meet the World Grandfather, on this important day!”, President Begaj said, in his press statement. The Head of State further added: “I wish all Bektashi believers - health, prosperity, happiness and peace in their families and everywhere! This special day coincides with the spring season, with the colors, optimism and vivacity that it has! So I wish all Albanians to have spring in their lives, to be healthy and happy!” President Begaj, along with the World Grandfather of the Bektashi, His Holiness, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, also visited the statue of Imam Ali, which was inaugurated today.
