President Begaj held meetings with the leaders of the Albanian parliamentary opposition and representatives of the minority political parties in Kosova
During the second day of his visit to Kosova, the President of the Republic, H. E. Bajram Begaj, met with the leaders of the Albanian parliamentary opposition and representatives of the minority parties at the Assembly headquarters.
President Begaj underlined that He fully supports the legitimate right of Kosova to expand its authority and establish the rule of law in the north of the country, in cooperation with the United States and the European Union as well. According to Him, the dialogue with Serbia is the sole way to make it clear that the reality of independent Kosova is irreversible and unchangeable.
The Head of State emphasized that the dialogue and common stand among all the political factors in Kosova is very important regarding the major challenges the country is facing.
The inter-parliamentary and inter-institutional cooperation between Albania and Kosova, in the view of President Begaj, must be continued with intensive and measurable work for the implementation of all bilateral agreements as well as the increase of cooperation in the field of security, especially in food and energy.
The leaders of the opposition parties praised Albania’s support in Kosova’s journey, as well as the decision made during the previous day about the electricity supply.
