President Begaj’s message on the passing away of Father Arthur Liolin
It is with great sadness that I learned the news of the passing of Father Arthur Liolin, Chancellor of the Albanian Orthodox Archdiocese in Boston.
Father Liolin was a prominent figure of the Orthodox Church and the Albanian-American community and will always be remembered as a worthy successor of Fan Noli, the founder of this church.
In 1991, Father Liolin realized his dream, preaching in 22 cities in Albania.
He was not just a spiritual guide, but an unwavering supporter of Albania and Albanians, a support which he also expressed through economic, cultural, historical, and philosophical publications on the Albanian issue.
