Drawing of Lots for the Selection of Members of the Justice Appointments Council for 2025
Today at the Institution of the President of the Republic, a lottery was held to select members of the Justice Appointments Council that will operate throughout 2025. The drawing was overseen by the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj, and the entire process adhered to principles of transparency, traceability, and monitoring, including live broadcasting that enabled direct observation by all institutions, stakeholders, and the public.
Present at the drawing were the Ombudsman, representatives from the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, the Constitutional Court, the High Judicial Council, the High Prosecutorial Council, as well as legal representatives from EURALIUS and OPDAT.
