21 May 2020 New members of the Special Prosecutor Office against Corruption and Organized Crime swear in before the President of the Republic
Today took place at the Institution of the President of the Republic the solemn swearing-in ceremony of three new members of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, Mr. Sotir Kllapi, Mr. Vladimir Mara and Mr. Dritan Prençi.
After the execution of the national anthem and the reading of the decisions of the High Prosecution Council, placing their hand on the Constitution of Albania, the prosecutors were sworn in before the President of the Republic H.E. Ilir Meta:
“I solemnly swear that while performing my duty I will always remain faithful to the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, the laws in force and I will respect the rules of professional ethics!“
President Meta wished success and a good work to the new Special Prosecutors of the Special Prosecutor Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, urging them to immediately start working and conduct investigations efficiently, professionally and independently, as should function all governing institutions of the justice system.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic appeals to all representatives of the justice system to fulfill their duty efficiently, professionally and uninfluenced by any internal or external interference, as well as to always remain faithful only to the Constitution and laws in its respect.
