I strongly condemn the attack on Kosova’s police in the municipality of Leposavic, which resulted in the death of one officer and injuries to two others.
This organized criminal act is a grave breach of order and security for the Republic of Kosova.
I implore the international community to decisively respond against the orchestrators and perpetrators of this deeply concerning act for Kosova’s stability and peace in the Western Balkans region.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of the slain officer and wish a speedy recovery to the injured officers.
