The President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Bajram Begaj accompanied by the First Lady Armanda Begaj attended the coronation ceremonies of King Charles III.
During the reception given by the King of the United Kingdom to the heads of state held at Buckingham Palace as part of the coronation ceremonies, the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Bajram Begaj met and talked with King Charles III, Prince William, President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, President of Austria, Alexander Von der Bellen, President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, President of Hungary, Katalin Novák, President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, and other guests.
In a casual conversation with them, President Begaj underlined the role of Albania in the region as a factor of peace and stability, as well as exchanged opinions on the current challenges facing the world order and the common values of the European family.
The head of state, accompanied by the First Lady, were also part of the ceremony held at “Westminster Abbey” in London, where they attended the special honors that took place at the coronation ceremony of King Charles III.
In His message on this occasion, President Begaj appreciated the strong bond with the United Kingdom, while he congratulated King Charles III for a long, peaceful and successful reign.
